Million Dollar Match Fund Raiser
An anonymous donor has stepped forward and has offered to match every dollar the museum receives in donations up to 1 million dollars. Fiber Fun Day 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Prairie Fibers Weavers and Spinners Guild artisans will be demonstrating various fiber arts to honor the memory of Lois Nelson, a founding member of the Guild, who shared her love of the fiber arts with others by teaching and demonstrating spinning and weaving at the Pioneer Village for more than 40 years. Spinning, weaving and the use of natural dyes are some of the activities the Guild with be demonstrating.

FACES Motorcycle Rally
The FACES Rally is a motorcycle event for all bikes held every June since 2002 to raise money and bring awareness for FACES: The National Craniofacial Association. Events during the rally include a fun run, bike show, bike games, hog roast, bands, vendors, silent auction, fireworks display, and other activities. The rally is held in Upland, Nebraska just 15 miles south of Minden.

Experience the talent of local band & flag corps as they march the main streets of Minden. The parade starts at 1:00. Following the parade, head on out to the Minden football field and watch bands perform in the field competitions. Awards are announced later in the afternoon.
